Sat FUSE FESTIVAL MONICA WEIGHTMAN & PIRRITU Monica’s husky, campfire voice & fine acoustic guitar playing deliver a warm to an attentive and steadily building crowd. A highlight of her set is a lively rendition of her original song Livin It Up, which was recorded by the late Paul Hester of Crowded House fame. A staunch, healing & positive set from Weightman, whose pride in her culture & musical history is refreshing and powerful.

PIRRITU’s music is a gentle, honest, and melodic personal journey that entices you into the depths of sadness, love & shimmering hope.
The songman’s work honours a cultural journey to connect back to land, language, & family with a continual thirst for deeper understanding of his people and country.
Pirritu’s music features folk instrumentation weaving amongst his unique vocals like the gentle wind and waters that the Ngiyampaa man sings of.weightman

Spectacular human & musician Damon Smith has been part of Ragtime since we opened & this Saturday Sept 5th he is celebrating his birthday with a very special show on the spinning baby grand.
He’s got some very special guests lined up….they are so special we aren’t actually allowed to announce them but we can advise you will be very glad you came!

If you don’t know Damon, he writes beautiful songs like this one, can also rock out Jerry Lee Lewis style on the piano & if that’s not enough he also makes films.
Give him a follow & see ya Saturday
