Heavens to Betsie! Is it the last Simba of the year already? My, how the year has flown!

How delightful it was last night to have a little surprise amongst our audience on Friday – Trace Balla!!!

We are a massive fan of and her work, and were delighted when she contacted us to show and share a little bit of her noodling during the night.

Such a delightful offering back to our beautiful artists featured in these drawings, sharing stories and song.

Massive shout out to Georgia, Jeremy and Megan, now immortalised in art. Thanks Trace! You can come back anytime.❤️

SIMBA THIS FRIDAY!!! And golly does this poet pack a punch - we are pumped! Come help us welcome Tony Blane back to the Simba Stage alongside Megan Kennedy and the stunning Georgia Fields!

We will be exploring the theme: ‘re/member, re/create’

Holy moly, are we pumped to have this shinning star, Georgia Fields playing a special show at Simba Sessions this Oct 16!

Among other things, Georgia is an incredible loop artist layering vocal technique and Music dexterity in layers of rainbow sparkle for the ears. I’ve heard rumours of a strip down Piano set but who knows what she will bring to Kyneton this October?!
Whatever she brings you can bet it’s gonna be fabulous and you can also bet that you’ll be sad if you miss it.

She will be playing alongside the modern folk of Megan Kennedy and spokenword genius Tony Blaine - if you were at the last Simba, you know what I’m talking about!

What a night! And how beautiful was this man?

For anyone looking for more of Will’s poetry, Simba is helping host a live Spiritual Misfits podcast in Melbourne TONIGHT, as a way of giving back. (Our own Paul Banks was a guest on a recent episode.😉)

If any of you feel like a spiritual misfit, wrestle with the complicated inheritance of a religious past, seeking progressive faith conversations or are just looking for a community that can hold harder questions, check it out!

The question for tonight is ‘ is Hope still reasonable?’
