TLDR: Closing down sale - 25% OFF ALL VINYL!
It’s with great sadness and reluctance that we’re announcing our closure in the next couple of weeks. The circumstances that we’ve faced over many months now have made sustaining the business impossible - nursing our mental and physical health, Bev dealing with the most devastating and consequential healing journey imaginable, an ongoing police investigation, and trying to show up as a good-enough parent for my two beautiful kids, expensive rent and bills, and not having nearly enough fuel left in the tank for the business. Living through something of this magnitude also shifts one’s priorities and it’s clear to both of us that the additional extreme stress that comes from running a small business isn’t something that is good for either of us right now. There are simply more important things in life at the moment. One’s health and sense of duty to care for loved ones (and oneself) properly during times of crisis is always the most important thing at the end of any day. So there’s a lot of sadness today, but there’s also the knowledge that we’ll be able to look ourselves in the mirror on day and know that we made the right decision - for ourselves and for each other.
We’ll be trying to clear as much stock as possible in the coming couple of weeks by taking a huge 25% OFF ALL STOCK. This discount is automatically applied to all purchases on our website and we’ll do our best to open as much as possible over the coming fortnight. You can still select store pick-up at the payment screen - even if we’re not open, we’ll be around for you to collect. (Just call the number on the door.)
And if you’re still interested in donating to our GoFundMe (which provides a bit more info about our circumstances), please go to the Linktree in our bio.
We’d like to thank everyone who has checked in with us in recent weeks/months - from the bottom of our hearts. Our faith in humanity has absolutely been restored by these moments of genuine human connection and empathy. Wishing you all the very best for what’s been, for so many, an incredibly difficult year.
Peace and love.
Rob and Bev ✌️❤️
