Spring is here and we’ve got another great month of live music lined up at The Stag & Hunter, with a mix of open-entry and ticketed shows, featuring touring artists, local favourites and original music.

We’re also excited to be hosting New Annual Festival – Through the Lens of Tony Mott, featuring a special talk and workshop celebrating the work of one of Australia’s most renowned music photographers. 📸

We’re also launching a new all-day Bar Menu, available from 12pm until late throughout September. The menu is still taking shape, but we’ll have more details to share soon!

Known to generations as the Amos Hotel and the Waratah Hotel before that, this Mayfield institution has stood on Maitland Road through it all — from the days when trams rattled down Maitland road to the closure of the BHP. Despite its many incarnations the pub stands strong and remains a vital part of the community
