This week in 1930, the final Lego piece went click and the Sydney Harbour Bridge was connected together. They didn't open the bridge for another two years though. Don't worry, I won't make you wait that long for the bands this week:

Friday (18/9): HUXGOLD
Bridging our way into Friday. I hope you boys realise gold is a bad building material. It's soft and heavy, which is just all kinds of wrong. You've never done me wrong though so I trust the hux.

Saturday (19/9): Mescalito Blues
When your golden bridge, which looked super duper cool, comes crashing down. You're probably gonna have the blues. That's what these boys are for. To remind you that gold was fun but mescal gets it done.

This week in 1993, Sydney won something for once and was announced as the hosts to the 2000 Olympic Games. But don't worry, Brisbane will do it better in a few years and put them back in their place. Speaking of places, here's the entertainment here this week:

Friday (11/9): Wiggly Air Band
The first band this week comes flying in hot. It's a shame wriggling is not a sport. I reckon these boys would've got a solid 4th, just behind Greg, Anthony, Murray, and Jeff.

Saturday (12/9): DÉVU
You're not gonna believe it, a second band has crashed the party. It's just Dévid though so it's actually a good thing. This is a man who would definitely run away with Gold. Brisbane 2032 GO DÉVID!

This week in 1936, the last known captive Tassy Tiger became unalive, that means he died. I wouldn't normally post a fact this sad, but his name was Benjamin and I think that's fun. Just like the entertainment this week:

You know who is not at risk of dying out, lobsters. These crustyasians will be around forever. So shellfish of them. But I'll forgive you for those salty shanties you always play.

Saturday (5/9): Jack Rabbit
Rabbits are a menace. Nobody stopping these little hoppers. And this lovable, fluffy, bouncy bun will continue making you go boing boing all night. Also his name is Jack! How fun.

Just Dance 3 is a video game that incorporates a camera to catch your sick dance moves. Now we won't record you but the harder you play the harder the band plays.

This week on What Happened Here Then, the first ever successful South to North roadtrip happened. Some names that are kinda recognisable but you wouldn't know them, completed their journey from Adelaide to Darwin in 1908. Now some names you should know:

Friday (21/8): Adam O'Connor Trio
I wanted to change Trio into Tree-o but I don't Cedar point. Trio is informative though, that means that there are three Adams and you need trees to make a dam.

Saturday (22/8): Dan and Duncan's Deep Fried Barnstomp
Do you think these guys have their own barn? I reckon they used to rent until an oily mishap happened and now they're blacklisted. Or they just rock our joint instead.

Speaking of diamonds I'm ready for this beautiful boy. None of this has anything to do with history but goddamn should he be immortalised.
