LAST NIGHT ON EARTH'S LIVE MUSIC POST ABOUT LIVE MUSIC AT LAST NIGHT ON EARTH!

Did you know, this Saturday is Queensland's Birthday! That's right, Australia's best state was birthed on this day in 1859. And just like every good child, we grew bigger than our parents. So big that we got entertainment to celebrate:

Friday (5/6): Lachypuss and the Lobstermen
The whirlpool bath Bandits may have been foiled by a human sized door, but they did manage to increase their numbers and evolve into crustaceans. Don't ask questions, it makes sense.

Saturday (6/6): DJ Topdown
Daddy Topdown is ready to show Baby Topson how it's done. Maybe we should have a DJ off. What do you think Mr. Topdown? You reckon you're hip enough to keep up with the new generation?

This week in history, Australia officially decided to swap to a decimal currency in 1964. But, much like the winner of the biggest loser, we didn't give up the pounds for another 2 years. Luckily the bands this week are not tardy:

Friday (29/5): Alby Damn
The first man made damn in Queensland was actually an accident. A bridge collapsed over the Albert River in Mt Tamborine blocking the water flow and creating the Alby Damn. Now they are playing for us tonight. Happy little accidents.

Saturday (30/5): Imperial Zest
The Metric Lemons are back to perform their classic covers of, Nine Metre Nails, Millimetre Cyrus, and Gun Laws & Roses.

LAST NIGHT ON EARTH'S LIVE MUSIC POST ABOUT LIVE MUSIC AT LAST NIGHT ON EARTH!

This week in 1867, copper was discovered in Queensland and the town of Cloncurry was founded. Now that's obviously not a real town name just like Conjuboy and Eromanga. But what is real is the entertainment this week:

Friday (22/5): whirlpool bath Bandits
Now I'm picturing a couple of hot tubs wearing a Zoro hat and a face mask trying to enter a convenience store with guns but they're too big to fit through the door. Instead they give up and turn on the bubbles til they overflow and it seems like they're crying.

Saturday (23/5): DJ Topson (TK BLU3)
It's Daddy Topdown's little boy back again to spin some beats. I could say more but doesn't the Topdown name just sell on its own? Ok fine, he's a great independent DJ that didn't just get the gig because of Daddy.

Don't we all just love the cold! It's not even winter yet and I'm excited for the chilly willys! Look at me unironically talking about the weather. Also unironically telling you about the entertainment this week:

Friday (15/5): Dawn Of Dusk
To me, Dawn Of Dusk means midday. Which is conveniently when we open on Friday for lunch shenanigans. No the band doesn't start til evening time. Sorry I don't make the rules.

Saturday (16/5): Solo Julo (27 Club Birthday Party)
Have you ever met a man so handsome, so beautiful, so 27 years old today? Well I have and he's asked me to host his birthday! So do me a solid and bring a lighter, paint it white. It's a bad omen or something fun like that.

LAST NIGHT ON EARTH'S LIVE MUSIC POST ABOUT LIVE MUSIC AT LAST NIGHT ON EARTH!

This week the gang wanted to know if Duncan, the reserved horse, lived up to the hype. Grylls, the beautiful bear, seems quite impressed. He's got me beat apparently and I'm not upset about that at all. I'm also not upset about this week's entertainment:

Friday (8/5): Wiggly Air Band
Do you like to breathe? Does holding your breath make you squirm? If you said yes and yes then you're two thirds of the band tonight. You're just missing the good part but don't worry, I gotchu.

Saturday (9/5): Jason Delphin
The beautiful dyslexic dolphin returns! If you haven't seen this beautiful man use his blowhole then you're gonna be flipping out tonight. Tonight is dolphinately gonna be fintastic!
