Divine weather for a Spring wedding..
Clayfield Homestead really put it on today- gardens looking lovely, the lambs could be heard in the backdrop reminding us we were in a tranquil place away from the hustle and bustle and this was a really relaxed but meaningful ceremony which included a reading from the brides’ Mum and Dad, a hand fasting to represent Scottish heritage and sweet and personal vows. Kirsty and Danny were a joy to plan the day with and delightful to marry.
Give me an intimate wedding any day of the week, but especially a Tuesday with the date having significance to the happy couple.
Love this job, love these days.

Have to feel the love of weddings more from my desk while writing ceremonies at this time of year while it’s quieter on the ceremony front! Though I have had the opportunity to meet with lots of my couples of late; witnessing NOIMS and sitting down with them to prepare for their day. It’s a busy prep time and am grateful to do that from the warmth of home (though loving that sunshine today!)
