🎃 Halloween '26 is sorted! 🎃

We've got a spooky night planned with The Evil Ones and The Predawn Civilisation.

The Evil Ones is a tribute to the music of Roky Erickson, particularly the 'asylum years' which produced the horror-themed album The Evil One with tracks such as Night of the Vampire, Two Headed Dog and I Walked with a Zombie.

The Evil Ones consists of members of Bored!, Gas Babies, Motherslug and Howl at the Moon.

Tickets are only $10 - link in bio.

Rounding out the festivities for this year’s Gem Fest are the almighty STEPMOTHER! 2026 has already seen the band release their sophomore album, Absurdus Manifestus and smash out international tour legs across Europe and the United States. No strangers to the iconic Gem Stage, the Melbourne garage-punk power trio will be unleashing their signature brand of feedback-drenched, heavy fuzz and raw proto-punk chaos. Prepare for a high-octane, relentless assault on the senses from one of Melbourne’s most explosive live acts.

If you haven’t seen Techno 666 yet, we feel sorry for you. But that’s okay, you’ll have the chance at this year’s GEM FEST on October 3. Gaining a very healthy cult following and packing out shows all over Melbourne, Techno 666 are the post-pub-rock-n-roll heroes we need right now.

Hailing from out west, The Black Ranges take their name from the range that looms over the country they came up in. Their sound is dry, heavy and groove-driven. Catch them opening this year’s GEM FEST on October 3!
