Open as per usual this Friday.

On Saturday, will fire up the bbq around noon for a pre game snag. Few sneaky bottles on tasting I'm sure and the shop will be open for takeaways.

Post the bbq the shop will be open as per normal.

We usually do close for the grand final but assume that hawks supporters have zero interest in the game after the result Saturday.

Next week we are hosting a Tassie Pinot masterclass as part of our 'Table' series.

This is the first event as part of the Proper Drops w**e club. Limited to strictly 10 seats.

Guided tasting of 6 stellar pinots, with grazing plates. $39 for w**e club members or $79 for non-members. Starting at 7pm Wednesday 12th August.

Own a slice of Lennox history.

After over 2 years of laughs and good times around the w**e barrels out the front, a local resident has decided to make a complaint about the barrels being left on the footpath after we close at 11pm.

While I try to figure out how these two vessels have negatively impacted somebody between 11pm to 9am - I do acknowledge that it has been done so outside of our footpath permit.

To fund new outdoor settings, we are offering up the barrels at $200 each. To be collected in the next week.

The weekend just gone marked three years since our little bar and shop opened here on Maling Rd.

No two days are ever the same and we continue to create many special friends and moments along the way (also a enough stories to fill a coffee table book).

Thanks to all who have popped down and continue to do so on a regular basis. Look forward to another year of laughs and good aussie vino.

PSA: Good booze at Lennox W**e...

Over the last two weeks there has been a major shakeup with the major liquor retailers, with Endeavour selling off major assets such as Oakridge, Chapel Hill and Joseph Chromy whilst keeping the brand names intact. Creating a flexible sourcing model, moving to outsource 99% of their grapes.

Treasury W**e in the same week announced it was dumping 40 brands to focus on premium brands.

'Whats this got to do with Lennox W**e' I hear you ask.

We got into this little business as we love the connections you make along the way. All the w**es we stock we can confidently talk through the people involved, the family, the vineyard or the w**emaker.

Every time you purchase a bottle, it touches many small businesses along the way. Whilst there may be labels you are unfamiliar with, we can guarantee they are all delicious and worthy of your attention.

I know its convenient popping next door to the supermarket for a top up as part of your weekly routine, but you could be drinking so much better and support small independent shops and producers at the same time.

You can also have a sneaky taste as you browse too x
