We wish to clarify recent online claims regarding an incident at our venue, as several statements circulating publicly do not accurately reflect what occurred.
At no time were any guests asked to leave the venue, and this matter was never related to the presence of a Guide Dog. We regularly welcome visually impaired patrons and have hosted many guests accompanied by accredited assistance animals. Our venue is also dog-friendly and routinely accommodates companion pets of all sizes. Water bowls are provided throughout the venue, and we have previously hosted large pet-friendly events, including gatherings of more than 30 dogs and their owners. We also used to sell dog pet food over the counter.
Guests were not asked to sit outdoors because of a Guide Dog. At the time of the visit, indoor seating was largely reserved and approaching full capacity. As a small venue, seating is managed carefully to ensure comfort, safety, and operational flow. Outdoor seating was offered solely due to availability.
We also wish to state that claims alleging discriminatory remarks by our chef are false.
Following the incident, we reached out directly to express our regret that the experience was perceived negatively and to seek a constructive resolution. Unfortunately, the situation has since escalated through online harassment, including fake accounts targeting our business, coordinated review attacks, abusive messages to our social media channels, attempted access to staff members’ personal accounts, and harassing phone calls directed at our reservations team.
We condemn harassment in all forms. Our priority remains the wellbeing of our staff and patrons.
We remain committed to accessibility, fairness, and respectful service. Our intention has always been to resolve this matter transparently, professionally, and in good faith.
