ILA x ARC x A*O PRESENTS: VANISHING POINT – AN IMMERSIVE CONCERT EXPERIENCE
An immersive concert blending orchestral music, experimental performance and cutting-edge visuals to explore tipping points in climate, technology, and society.
Step into The Light Room at ILA, transformed into a digital waystation where music transcends physical space. Featuring 12 Adelaide Symphony Orchestra musicians, experimental cellist David Moran (live-streamed), and new music by Luke Harrald, this performance explores the tipping points shaping our world—climate, technology, and society.
With stunning visuals by Nick Falkner, a computer scientist and artist, this immersive concert blurs the boundaries between live and remote performance, connecting musicians in real time through bi-directional streaming across 140sqm of LED screens.
Part of the Australian Research Council-funded project “Rebooting the Muse,” this groundbreaking event pushes the limits of networked and immersive technologies in the performing arts.
