This August, Meet the Maker at Merrymaker welcomes Adelaide’s Two Cats Distillery to the rooftop.

What started as a backyard experiment with a 100-litre still by Adelaide couple Craig and Theresa has grown into an internationally awarded distillery.

The name? Inspired by their own cats, Shadow and Luna, the “distillery cats” once trusted to guard precious grain stores, and 18th-century London’s curious “Puss and Mew” gin lore, when gin was discreetly sold through a wooden cat-shaped slot.

Fast forward to today, and Two Cats has recently been crowned Spirit of the Year – Australia at the 2026 London Spirits Competition.

Meet Craig and Theresa, hear the stories behind the spirits, taste their gin range and sip special Two Cats cocktails created for the night.

We're welcoming Prohibition Liquor Co. to the rooftop for an evening celebrating one of South Australia's most awarded craft spirit producers.

Meet the team behind the bottles, enjoy complimentary spirit tastings, and discover exclusive cocktails crafted for the night, sixteen storeys above the city.

No tickets required, but bookings are highly recommended.
