Emzini Restaurant and Bar management would want to take this opportunity to inform you loyal customers that despite all initiatives to keep the business running, we find ourselves with no option but to close the business at old known Steve corner house with immediate effect.
This is due to confusion between the owners of the place who seemed far from resolving their problems. The place is still under Steve but we were informed it was sold out to Mr Peter who later entered in to agreement with the owner of Emzini to operate his business on the venue.
Without going deep in to details we later discovered the place still owe Municipality and amount over R 500 000.00 since 2017 this let to cut off of services by the Municipality on the venue.
We found ourselves between challenges between owners as far as their own payments as per their agreement was concerned and further to that on the other side we had challenges on the Municipal side as far as the debt was concerned.
Emzini never enjoyed the smooth run of its business on the venue due to all this challenges which finally made the two parties to agree on termination of the lease agreement.
We will therefore continue to look around a free to use venue so we can continue to run the business.
