River Republic It's time to run away to the river for one weekend of beats, mayhem, mischief and magic. Escape to the River Republic.

A place where time slows and feet are moved by the rhythm of the river, and the movements of the sun. Where people laugh and scream and dance and dream, and there's no hate or sadness or horror or badness, just joy and electro, and light and delight. Catch your most loved local musicians, both DJs and bands, and play chess on a dance floor quite chequered and grand. Meet new people and make friend

s for life, and for a while forget your city strife. Let the music keep playing with a shake and a shiver, and you'll be ever so grateful you escaped to the river.

Republicans, we’d like to let you all know that we’ve decided for now to press pause on River Republic festival. There are a few factors at play; we are looking to change dates, but unsure of where to move (end Nov/March/April…?), and the current economy has put us off jumping in if we’re not 100% convinced about a date. The Breede River also has a short window of warm months that we can choose from and of course Up The Creek Music Festival has us tied up January and February.

So for the moment, it’s not good bye but see you soon. We’ll keep you all in the loop should we have any news, and will be sure to swing some ideas by you for opinions from those who’ve supported us the last three years!

THANK YOU🙏💞 to all Republicans for your incredible support and for making this year's festival one of our BEST! A massive thank you to everyone involved, all the bands, the wonderful Felix Unite crew at Round The Bend, and our awesome festival team for all your hard work.

For those of you that had such a good time that you let your belongings wander away, we will be posting the Lost & Found goodies in the course of the day so we can reunite you guys once again.

**WHERE TO GO**
From Cape Town, take the N2 towards Swellendam.
Turn right at the Felix Unite/Aloe Ridge turn off (+- 8 km before Swellendam).
Turn left at the Napkysmond turn off (2km from the N2).
Turn left again at the River Republic sign and continue until a fork in the road, where you stick right.
Continue carefully down the road until you arrive at the festival gate.
Park and load up your things into one of the shuttles!

For die-hard G&T fans, we have the BEST news! Woodstock Gin Company has come on board to provide us with their crafted gin by the river.

G&T's will be available on tap from the bar throughout the weekend, with a collection of gin cocktails available during the Woodstock Gin Company pop-up happy hour. See the lineup for the pop-up times.
