Awê London! Stuck In Dubai won a whole international award! This is amazing news! 🙏🏻

Words fail me. I’m extremely proud of this show. Like ridiculously proud of it. I wasn't sure if I would be able to translate my experience onto stage, let alone into a stand-up comedy show and make it funny. Writing a good comedy hour takes time - months - years. But, here we are 😭

Fast forward just over 2 months since the show launched at the National Arts Festival in June & my heart is full because local & international audiences & festivals are enjoying & celebrating my work. Are you mad?! I'm just a lytie from Retreat. The Rivas / Reevas mybru. The 7945. Soma a whole speech 🤣

Big love to the Riverside Studios & Bitesize Festival teams for the recognition & opportunity to part of your 50th anniversary celebrations. Sharing the stage & experience with so many other amazing artists was a privilege & honour. It means the world to me to be able to share proudly South African & African stories 💯
