What a review! "Quick little lunch on our way to a weekend away.
Apparently we are never having winter again so the weather was great to sit outside and sip on a (double🤫) G&T.
Husband ordered hake and chips, I wanted something smaller so went for a toasted chicken mayo. Oh. My. Hat! The plates were filled to the brim - both of us got chips and onion rings and the fish (deliciously tender) was accompanied by a whole ocean of tartar! My sandwich was made with 3 slices of bread and propvol chicken mayo. Dare I say it was the best I've ever had? Yes, I'm saying it! Super crispy bread, perfect ratio chicken:mayo.
All the food was served piping hot - big plus!
I see now why the place is such a popular stop for the weekend warriors.
