Fundraiser: Drifters Movie Screening at Hangklip Hotel Theatre

The Drifters artist collective invites you to an intimate screening of Ponyo (2008) and 20,000 Leaugues Under The Sea (1954) at the Hangklip Hotel Theatre on Saturday 20 May 2023.

This event is part of Drifters' ongoing fundraising initiative towards a public exhibition to raise awareness about local marine ecologies in the Cape coastal region.
Drifters is made up of a diverse group of artists residing in the Western Cape, South Africa, forming a collective to produce work and host events inspired by local ecosystems as well as the humyns that depend on them. Our current focus revolves around plankton and other marine life drifting about in our oceans. We are steadily working towards manifesting an immersive group exhibition to raise awareness about this subject and inspire others with its beauty and ecological importance.
