After a trip to Belgium in 2011, I was struck by the realisation that THIS is beer heaven.

With a new thirst for the truth deciding my way, out of the darkness crept my first bruin. Malt, and hop, and water, and yeast, are the favoured ingredients to create my beast. Once out of the bottle, you cannot contain, the smile on your face or fizz in your brain.

True to the highest standards required to make any German styled beer, Kas Bier Weiss is the first beer from Port Elizabeth to win an award at the South African National Beer Trophy in 2018.
