How To Make Muesli & Yogurt Breakfast 🧋

INGREDIENTS:
1) Challenger Super-Smoothie Mix - 2 Nos
2) Apple Chopped - 1 cup
3) Pear Chopped - 1 cup
4) Yogurt - 1 cup
5) Muesli / Cereal - 1/4th cup
6) Raisin - Handful
7) Almonds chopped - Handful
8) Walnuts chopped - Handful

PREPARATION:
1) Blitz Challenger mix and yogurt in a blender for less than 5 seconds
2) Mix all the chopped fruits and nuts in the Yogurt smoothie
3) Layer the serving glassware with muesli at the base and the yogurt fruit mixture on top
4) Garnish with muesli, raisin and flaxseed

Homemade Butter Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes
3/4 cup whole milk (or buttermilk for extra richness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for a subtle sweetness)
Directions:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Cut in the Butter: Add the cold, cubed butter into the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter, fork, or your fingers to work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized pieces of butter. This is key for achieving a flaky texture in your biscuits.

Add Milk: Pour in the milk (and vanilla extract, if using) and gently stir with a spoon until the dough begins to come together. Do not overmix, as this can make the biscuits dense.

Shape the Biscuits: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Gently knead the dough a few times to bring it together. Pat it down into a rectangle or circle about 1 inch thick. Using a round cutter (or a glass), cut out biscuits by pressing straight down—don’t twist the cutter, as that can prevent them from rising properly. You can re-roll the dough scraps to cut more biscuits.

Bake: Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are close together for soft, tall biscuits. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the biscuits have risen.

Serve: Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with butter, jam, or honey, and enjoy the melt-in-your-mouth goodness!

Oat Crunchie Biscuits

2 cups oats
2 cups desiccated coconut
2 cups All purpose or brown flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
1 cup Sultanas/Raisins (optional)
1 cup melted butter
1 Tablespoon honey
3 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda

(You can nuts..seeds.. dried cranberries etc to this mixture for a lovely variation)

Mix oats, coconut, flour, salt, sugar, sultanas and cinnamon together.
Heat the butter in a bowl in the microwave, stir in the honey and the bicarbonate of soda and pour the mixture onto the dry ingredients.

Use a wooden spoon and mix until the mixture represents wet sand (clings together, but not sticky).
Add a few spoons of milk until the correct texture is achieved.
Lightly grease a 20 X 30cm baking tray.
Smooth the mixture into the pan.

Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes, until the surface is golden. If you want a crisper biscuit, bake for 5 minutes longer.
While the tray is warm, cut the biscuits into squares or bars. Allow to cool in the pan before removing.

Most delicious banana Bread Delight

Ingredients
2-3 ripe bananas (mashed)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions

Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.

Prepare the wet ingredients: In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter, vanilla extract, and beaten egg. Mix well.

Add dry ingredients: Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the banana mixture and stir in. Add the sugar and flour, and mix until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and serve: Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice, serve, and enjoy this deliciously moist treat!

This banana bread is perfect for breakfast or a snack. The sweetness of ripe bananas and the soft texture make it simply irresistible!

Easy Scones recipe

-16 cups flour
-16 tspn baking powder
-2 tspn salt
-2 ×500g butter
-2 cups sugar
-2 tbsn vanilla essence
-4 cup sour milk
-2 eggs for brushing

Method

-Mix flour,sugar,salt and baking powder together and mix
-Rubb in the butter then mix till combined
-Add milk and vanilla essence together mix and kneed DO NOT OVER WORK THE DOUGH
-Shape using a coockie cutter or a water glass
-Brush them and bake at 180° for 20min or till golden. NB it makes 10 l

-2 l inkomazi
-10 eggs: 2 is fo brushing
-2 tsp baking soda
-5 cups sugar: NB you can add or reduce
-3 x 500g butter
-2 tbsn essence of your choice

Method

-Mix inkomazi,egg and vanilla essence together and put in the fridge while mixing dry ingredients
-In a large bowl add flour,sugar,baking powder,soda,and butter mix till combined
-Add the wet ingredients to the dry and and mix using hands
-DO NOT OVER MIX YOUR DOUGH
-Roll dough in a clean surface and shape using coockie cutter
-Place in a greased pan and brush with eggs
-BAKE AT 180°FOR 20 TO 25 MIN
