Montagu Winery From 800t grapes and 15 members in 1942 the cellar grew to 13 000t grapes and 61 members in 2011. Be sure to contact our cellar with any queries.

Montagu Winery (Montagu Coöperative Wine Cellar Limited) produces various cultivar red and white wines, including our well known muscadel.

Montagu Winery is situated at the beginning of the Little Karoo, about 200km from Cape Town on Route 62, in the beautiful town of Montagu. Mon

tagu Muskadelboere Koöperasie (name changed in 1992 to present name) was founded on 17 March 1941 under the leadership of Mr DJ Burger Sr – chairman of 15 members. The cellar produces various cultivar red and white wines for the market, including our well known muscadel. The range consist of 3 white wines, 2 red wines, 2 sweet wines (red and white muscadel) and white grape juice. Wines are marketed locally, but can also be delivered to your doorstep.
