It is with heavy and sad hearts that we have to announce - our landlord decided that he is not renewing our bar premises contract. (He never waterproofed up there so when it rains - it leaks into the shop electrics below the bar and has rusted some of the wires). We have to be out of the bar - lock, stock and barrels by the end of the month (March)!!!!!!
We feel really sad about this. We had put in a lot of hard work to build the bar up and get a good reputation up there and finally this year got a lot of recognition from international platforms talking about the bar. We were also approached in Feb to be put into a magazine’s top ten bars to visit internationally!! Now this landlord of ours won’t budge about closing the area off.
We won’t be able to replicate our bar anywhere else so are busy selling off everything!!!!!!!
