Chef de Partie vacancy
As Chef de Partie, you will become one of the crucial team members that will bring joy and fantastic dishes to the King's Palate clientele.
The following, among other responsibilities, will rest on your shoulders:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes;
Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus;
Kitchen maintenance - sanitation/hygiene, equipment, etc.;
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety;
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
Prospective candidates should have the following minimum requirements:
Grade 12;
5 years experience as Chef de Partie or 2 years experience as Griller/Fryer;
Relevant Culinary degrees;
Proven track record of excellence and creativity;
Computer literate;
Excellent communication skills;
Must be able to handle stress, be able to work long hours and produce dishes quickly and accurately.
