FINAL DJ REVEAL — OCTAVE
DJing since 1991, Octave has spent over three decades championing soulful, underground and forward-thinking sounds, establishing himself as one of the pioneers of South Africa’s Deep House culture.

His journey includes co-founding the legendary 115 in 2001 and The Lighthouse in 2009 — two spaces that left an indelible mark on Johannesburg’s club scene.

From sharing decks with Louie Vega, Jimpster, Black Coffee, Basement Jaxx, Dixon, Âme, Jazzanova, Dennis Ferrer, Martin Stimming, Charles Webster and Amp Fiddler, to moving dancefloors across South Africa, Asia and beyond, his philosophy has always remained:

Some DJs are part of the scene. Others help define an era.
Leenova has been behind the decks since the 90s, becoming a familiar and respected name across Johannesburg’s evolving dance music culture.

From the legendary days of Liquid Lounge, Sublime, Foundation and Reality, through to the unforgettable 115 events, Leenova has been there through the evolution.
A regular at many of the 115 events, his connection to the 115 story runs deep. He is also one half of the infamous duo M2EAST, further cementing his place in the city's electronic music history.

Now, as the journey moves from 115 to 95, Leenova returns to the decks for another chapter.

The music continues.
The memories remain.
The legacy lives on.

MBUSO TULWANA aka DJ MBUSO

From Soweto, a place synonymous with diversity, creativity and trend-setting South African culture, comes one of the influential figures in the evolution of South Africa’s dance music movement.

Mbuso has been an integral part of the country’s electronic music culture. Raised on Soul, Funk, Disco and European electronic music, his sound and vision helped shape a generation.

Through Phezulu / Soulcandi, Mbuso played a pivotal role in the movement from the early 2000s, producing tracks such as Soweto Funk, Mbuso’s Revenge and 6850 Maluleke Str, while working with some of South Africa’s most respected artists and DJs, including Black Coffee, DJ Fresh, Ganyani, Thandiswa Mazwai and many more.

His influence has reached far beyond South Africa, with international releases and a career that has taken him to dancefloors across the globe.

Fresh from Hi Ibiza, where he shared the stage with Afrikali, Wyclef Jean, Kerri Chandler, Skepta and the man of the moment, Black Coffee, Mbuso returns home to bless the decks at 95 on Hilton.

And for those who remember the early days of 115 — this one carries some history.

A true veteran of South Africa’s underground house and techno movement, Jon S has been shaping dance floors for nearly three decades.

From the legendary underground gatherings of the late ’90s to his work with All Good Productions, Pimp Squad, Truth and some of Johannesburg’s most iconic clubs, Jon’s sound has always been rooted in deep, funky house, groove and soul with a subtle techno edge.

And for those who remember the early days — Jon S was one of the original DJs at @115, helping define the sound and spirit of an era.

Some names don’t just belong to a scene — they’re woven into its history.
Les AfriQue, DJ/music producer and co-founder of the electronic music duo Household Funk. With a deep-rooted connection to the evolution of South Africa’s electronic music culture, his sound has always been about movement, energy and musical discovery.
For those who were there in the early days, you’ll remember Les AfriQue gracing the decks at 115 — adding his own flavour to a venue and era that became an important part of Johannesburg’s nightlife story.
Now, as we continue building something new at 95 on Hilton, it feels right to bring some of that history forward.

As we begin revealing the DJs joining us for the ONE ONE FIVE POOLSIDE SPRING GATHERING, we start with someone who has been part of this journey from the very beginning.
MAPEPS COLOURBLIND
DJ • PRODUCER • MUSIC CURATOR
Mapeps was playing at One One Five from a young age, 25 years ago. From those early days behind the decks to today, his passion for music has never faded — in fact, he's still doing it better than ever.
With over two decades in the game, Mapeps brings a signature blend of Deep House, Soulful House and Afro House, shaped by his roots as a drummer and his love for incorporating live musical elements into his sound.
He's performed alongside some of South Africa's respected DJs and continues to build his own musical legacy through ColourBlind Music and the Forgotten Fruits movement.
As a producer, his journey includes releases such as Comeback EP, SOA and Tears of Africa, with new music on the way.
But above all…
Mapeps is a storyteller through sound.
And after 25 years, there's something special about bringing that sound back to where part of the story began.
