What a freezing day in Johannesburg to publish my 3rd Austrian Menu for TWO at R 260.- hoping for warmer days to come. Lunch bookings only ( 082 850 1161)
As a Starter: “Serbische Bohnen Suppe” (Bean Soup) as a main Course “Hungarian Gulasch” a mouth-watering Beef Stew festively spiced with Paprika & “Schildkröten Gewürz” (in house mixture) slowly simmered Shin, stretched in beef stock, served with homemade Bread Dumpling and for Dessert: Vanilla Ice Cream

From Friday on the weather will be warmer and there are nice and warm sheltered areas for you and your partner to have Lunch at the Brewery (don’t forget - bookings only)

Authentic Austrian MENU 2: Portion each serves TWO for R 270.-
For starter a nice “Frittaten Suppe” (Pancake Soup) followed by a “Kümmel Braten” Thyme, Caraway, Marjoram & Garlic infused Pork Belly slowly grilled to perfection, served with “Brat Kartoffel” and homemade Sauerkraut or red Cabbage and for dessert we have “Wiener Palatschinken” (Pancake)

Over the following days I will send out the Menu for daily Lunch order at the Brewery which has to be booked (for the Restaurant or take-away on 082 850 1161) to avoid disappointment.

Authentic Austrian MENU 1: Portion each serves TWO for R 280.-
To start off with a “Leberknödel Suppe” (Liver-dumpling Soup)-followed for the main course with a “Zwiebelrostbraten”
Tender Beef Roast topped with crispy Onions on a bed of mash Potatoes and roast-gravy served with seasonal garden vegetables-and to end the meal with “Apfel im Schlafrock”
Apple slices pulled thru a pancake dough fried in butter, sprinkled with Cinnamon and Icing Sugar.

The reopening of the Brewery at Randpark Restaurant for daily Lunch from Tuesday to Sunday from 12noon to 3pm is in accordance with the department of health regulation. Precautionary measures include wearing face shield/mask all the time, daily temperature screening (if temperature is above 37.5 C or higher is recorded, access will not be permitted) record-keeping of guests and regular cleaning of areas. To effectively manage capacity and to safeguard the wellbeing and safety of our guests, access will only be allowed to guests who booked in advance which offers a variety of authentic Austrian food Menu (Menu will be send by what’s-up on request or see our page ) the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited at the Restaurant in accordance with Covid-19 regulation.
