As excitement looms for this weekends festivities, we are proud to welcome Kandja & Big Foot to the Gin & juice entourage!

These two are no strangers to the South African music scene with appearances at Hot On Top, Rocking The Daisies, G***t Fest and Park Acoustics to name a few. After a long hiatus from the South African music scene, Kandja returns with a fresh selection of dance floor classics gathered from his European travels. Teaming up with Big Foot's fun and upbeat indie-disco, it's bound to be one hell of a collaboration!

Spencer is a Jozi based DJ who has applied his trade throughout South Africa. With over 16 years of experience, he is able to blend countless genres of music into one set, allowing him to entertain the most diverse crowds.

And so the first of many...

We welcome one of the OG artists to The Dough Room's launch next week! Headphase

Headphase is a Hot On Top resident and Jozi favourite, with memorable performances country wide at the likes of Rocking The Daisies, Earthdance & Synergy. He became a regular at the previous Gin & Juice venue, whereby he set the scene for what proved to be a great success!

We are super excited for Headphase to be back with us and cannot wait for him to get you all grooving once again 🍋

Hello Jozi,

Excitement is building fast for the opening night at ‘The Dough Room 😎

Over the next few days we’ll be filling you in on all the details – from live artists to our unique new cocktail menu. We have a load of surprises in store for you throughout our stint in Design Quarter, so best you stay tuned.

A couple of things to note for the opening event on 18 August:

- Kick off will be at 17h00, however you are more than welcome to arrive earlier, grab a drink and soak in the afternoon sun!
- Rugby kick off is also at 17h00 (SA vs Argentina), and we WILL be screening it on a big projector for all you peeps to cheer on the Bokke.
- The first DJ will jump onto the decks as soon as the game is over to let the festivities begin.
- Tables and Guest List are filling up at a rapid rate. Be sure to email [email protected] so that you get your booking in! Entrance fee will be R50 for any members who miss the boat on pre-bookings.
- Entertainment and live artists continue until 02h00 the following morning.
