Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in the daily operations of our fast-paced pub and fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a strong team leader, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Guest Engagement: Maintain a visible presence on the floor, handling guest feedback, and driving customer satisfaction.
Stock & Administration: Assist with inventory management, stock flow, and POS system management.(GAAP)
Scheduling: Coordinate staff shifts and manage labor costs efficiently.
Requirements:
RSA ID and drivers licence
Minimum 3-5years of experience in restaurant/bar management or a similar hospitality environment.
Qualification in hospitality
Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and bar service.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transport and availability to work nights and weekends.
