A new wave to ride at YOLO

Yolo Beach Bar started on the shores of Hartbeespoort a few years back. Opening to sunny skies, the bar enjoyed busy days with the flurry of regulars, locals, passersby and newcomers through the bar’s doors.

Despite a successful beginning, the sandy shores of Yolo turned to ashes after the establishment was sadly burnt down much to the sadness of the owners and the ‘beach bums’ that called this local hotspot home.

But life is a beach and the owners, however, enjoyed the waves. After much low tides at the establishment, after the unfortunate incident, YOLO is about to see high tides with much time and effort placed into riding the renovation waves - thanks to the passionate and determined people behind the name that is Yolo.

Much upgrades have taken place, and are currently underway, to not only restore the bright and familiar Yolo Beach Bar to its former glory, but to make it that much more brighter, better. The bar is also finding it’s own identity - a new look and a new brand - and is set to really bring something unique to a local area where trends have become common and everything is the same. And while the old Yolo may sink in the mind of the community, the bar will sail at the top of the tide for all those who knew the past establishment, the current situation and those who will be welcome for the first time to this beach-haven.
