GP Theatre Arts, Dance and Theatre Academy is a creative based theatre company, providing creative based training workshops and classes in of various art forms including Dance, Arts and Craft, Creative Photography, Hip Hop, Street and Funk, Creative Theatre and Theatre lighting and poetry and presentation techniques. A brand new Academy that values the integration of Creative Art and performance, as an educative mechanism, in invoking learning, self, discovery and developing self-actualised identities to all communities, focusing on underprivileged youth in townships and orphanages.

Two more shows left of my Masters performance, I am ... Dedanizizwe, this is our review from National Arts Festival Cue Newspaper by Kyra Davies.

A polished performance combines with raw esoteric expression to birth an exploration of sound and space. The performers demand to be witnessed, and their message demands to be felt. This show brings a powerful exclamation forward in order to evoke a deep response in its audience. KD

A Gemini gliding through the sky
Waltzing in, grooving out, I rise, I surface
I am wonderment searching for its purpose,
Searching for love, seeking to love,
Yearning for love, learning to love.
And as I ponder down my prickly road

Dear All, GP Theatre Arts and Dance Academy is back this 2016 and will be situated in the heart of Grahamstown, 2016 marks the comeback of Artistic Director Lenin Shabalala, as he sets to perform his 2016 Rhodes Masters Choreography production at this years National Arts Festival entitled I AM ..... DEDANIZIZWE. GP will also be holding Hip-Hop, Contemporary and ballroom dance classes at the PRINCESS ALICE HALL situated in Grahamstown in April 2016 as well a community theatre. A Prince is banished from his land and presumed dead, yet he returns and defeats a harrowing curse that lingers over the land that disowned him. A must see Music Dance Theatre production.
