Dear Franschhoek Community, Tourists and friends. As of yesterday morning, we have closed down our restaurant for the time being.
This was a very difficult decision to make, but the only morally and socially responsible one. Over the last two weeks we have adapted our operations going above and beyond all hygiene safety measures , desperately fighting for the survival of our beloved restaurant.
As many operators in the industry in Franschhoek, we are an independent family run establishment serving our community and industry with love and care . And the effect of this pandemic is destroying our industry and businesses.
However, we have Faith, we have endurance and we shall rise from this once again!!
The safety and wellbeing of our team and guests far outweigh the value of any financial losses and hardships we will be facing in the weeks and months to come.
The risk is just too great. Acting Now will serve us all in the future.
We are working on a contingency plan and will share details with you in the coming days.
We thank you for your support, past, present and future and look forward to welcoming you back once this situation is under control.
