We loved our stay at Mieke's Cottage! Our young girls had a great time feeding the horse, playing in the jungle gym and swimming in the pool. House is very spacious and well equipped and Lozanne is a very friendly host. Would recommend every family with young kids to stay here. Very comfortable! ~ Rianne & Wessel | The Netherlands 🇳🇱

Lozanne is the best host I have come across. Her and her family made us feel so at home and was there for whatever we needed. The cottage with the animals is so very special, we were very sad to leave. I would highly recommend this special place. ~ Gina | UK 🇬🇧

We had such an amazing stay at Mieke's Cottage!
Everything was just perfect. The kids absolutely loved the pool and all the animals — they had the best time!

Lozanne was so lovely and super responsive, checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The cottage is beautiful, in the most gorgeous and peaceful setting, and we felt completely safe the whole time.

This getaway was honestly such a treat from start to finish. The home is beautiful with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Nestled in a stunning garden with a peaceful, farm-like charm, it truly felt like a home away from home.

What made it extra special were the thoughtful touches - a personalised welcome letter, fresh milk and juice in the fridge, and eggs from the hens right on the property. These little gestures made all the difference.

Our son was absolutely delighted by the animals
- goats, a horse, a donkey, ducks, a rabbit, and of course, the chickens. Watching his excitement while interacting with them was a joy in itself.

If you're looking for a quiet, warm, and welcoming escape, this place ticks all the boxes.

Highly recommend Mieke's Cottage to anyone.

Clean, central, peaceful accommodation with plenty of activities for little ones to enjoy themselves around the acreage.

The host Lozanne, is an absolute gem when it comes to hosts! Lozanne is super friendly, very accommodating and her directions and instructions to get to the property and other amenities were accurate and without confusion.

Don't let the word cottage mislead you, the property is quite large and there is plenty of space for everyone to move around with comfort.

We had an amazing stay at Mieke's Cottage and we will absolutely be back to enjoy the company of Klippies and Bliksem (The GOATS) and the rest of the animals on the acreage. ~ Mark | Australia 🇦🇺

Mieke's Cottage is truly a home from home.
The home has all amenities, modern and very comfortable. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. There was a lovely welcome selection of drinks in the fridge, and a lovely bottle of wine.

Lozanne is a wonderful host - she is attentive and kind. The children (and the adults) absolutely loved the animals. The splash pool was a lovely treat.

We stayed for just over two weeks, and we were so sad to leave. We felt safe and secure at all times. When needed, Lozanne and her husband were on hand when we had a question. We hope to return to stay at the cottage when we visit in 2026. 5 stars in my opinion.
