After two amazing years, the time has come for us to say goodbye to The Mountain Monkey.
What started as a small dream turned into something truly special, thanks to all of you — our locals, friends, travellers, musicians, and everyone who stopped by for a drink, a braai, or a sunset in the mountains.
The Mountain Monkey has been part of so many great memories, and we are incredibly grateful for all the support this place has received.
But the story doesn’t end here — we have some exciting new plans for the future. We will also be announcing and welcoming the new tenant of the business! Before we move on to the next chapter, we would love to celebrate one more Sunday Live Music & Braai with all of you.
We’ll be running some fun specials and clearing out our stock over the next few weeks.

Our monthly Live Music & Braai Day is leveling up as local favourites Autoflower record an outdoor live set at The Mountain Monkey — music, mountains, and atmosphere all in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Come be part of it and show some love for local music!❤️
