DIE KRAAL BRANDEWYN — ’N STORIE WAT MOES VOORTLEEF

Elke goeie brandewyn het ’n smaak.

Maar Die Kraal Brandewyn het ’n storie.

Lank terug was daar ’n man genaamd Oom Jan Grobler — ’n stoker, ’n karakter en, soos hulle sou sê, ’n regte REBEL.

Van vroegoggend tot lank ná slaaptyd het die ketel geloop, want Oom Jan was altyd op soek na DAAI smaak. Hy was nie bang om te eksperimenteer nie, en uit daardie stookhuis het ’n brandewyn gekom waarvan mense nog lank om braaivleisvure sou praat.

Toe die ketel uiteindelik stilgemaak is, het Oom Jan sy stokers-safaribaadjie weggehang… met sy kosbare resep steeds in die sak.

Ná sy afsterwe het Tannie Tokkie besluit dat dié resep — en Oom Jan se nalatenskap — nie saam met hom mag verdwyn nie. Die safaripak en resep het uiteindelik hul pad na CJ en Ian by KetelKraal gevind… en die ketel het weer begin praat.

Vandag leef Oom Jan se REBEL-gees voort in elke bottel Die Kraal Brandewyn.

Dis die reuk van die plaas.
Die geknetter van ’n hardekoolvuur.
Biltong met koljander.
Vars oggendkoffie.
Pelle wat saamkuier en stories vertel.
