My fiancée and I are starting the search for a place to rent closer to our business.
We’re a quiet, respectful couple — I’m a software developer (28) and my fiancée, Inge (25), is a store manager and qualified physiotherapist. We’re both non-smokers and drink only occasionally (no more than a few drinks per month). We take great pride in keeping our home clean, tidy, and well looked after, and we treat any property we live in with care and respect.
We lead an active, outdoorsy lifestyle and enjoy running and walking, with plans to get into cycling as well. We recently opened Platō Coffee in Tokai and are currently based in Sea Point, which is why we’re hoping to relocate closer to the shop.
Ideally from 1st April as we have a calendar two months notice obligation.
What we’re hoping to find:
• A peaceful, well-maintained property
• A quiet environment suited to long-term living
• Pet friendly would be a bonus but not a requirement
• Parking for 2 cars (one inside and one outside)
• Safety is important to us
📍 Areas we’re considering:
Tokai, Kirstenhof and surrounding areas.
Budget: R13 000pm
We’re genuinely looking for a place where we can settle, build routine, and create a comfortable long-term home while being respectful, reliable tenants.
