100 YEAR OLD RECIPE - reborn and on draught

One of Belgium’s legendary Trappist breweries, one of its rarest b**rs, and now pouring at Bier Draak 🍺

Golden, spicy, citrusy and beautifully rounded.

Inspired by a strong blonde b**r brewed by the monks of Rochefort way back in 1920! A century later, the recipe lives on and we’ve got it on keg

Only a select few venues will have Rochefort on draught and we are lucky enough to share this 7.6% Trappist b**r with you 🤌🏻

THE B**R THEY STOPPED MAKING! 🍺🇳🇱

There’s something rather special about this b**r currently sitting at Bier Draak. Brewed at Abdij Maria Toevlucht in Zundert, Netherlands, this b**r was made under the watch of the monastery’s Trappist monks.

But in 2025, after more than 125 years of monastic life, the abbey closed. The community had sadly dwindled to just 6 monks, no longer enough to sustain the monastery.

Zundert Trappist is now considered rare and historic, but guess what… we’ve got it at Bier Draak of course! 🍺 Both Zundert 8 and Zundert 10 will be included in our Trappist tasting this month 🤌🏻

Join us to taste history Thursday 29th October
