While merchants hid their top tier merchandise
A Scarecrow woman came alive to woo
One neighbor, Clark, was charged the largest price
For stopping bats from doing what they do.

His wife deceased, not snoring, not a bit,
Because of Clarks poor aiming of his broom.
The doubtful Gregor soon discovers it
After he frees the bat from Clark’s bedroom.

Gregor is pained by never finding love
He’s hurt to see it dismissed by his friend.
But thanks to intervention from above
He meets his soulmate ‘for he meets his end

A tale of fuzzy feelings felt by zeros

Last night we told a tale of soup and love:
An anniversary couple did dine
But feuded over food, push came to shove,
The Gods of War beat out Saint Valentine.

But a French chef, mysterious and kind,
Had specials not listed on the Menu.
His accent and words were all intertwined.
This couple thought “what else can that tongue do?”

Their spark ignited, will they separate?
Will these two lovers welcome in one more?
The witches did not forsee such a fate:
This date and couple had much more in store.

As liquid food and solid drink was scoop’d
They rekindled their love over hot soup.

This week we have a pair of Makeshift show
The first on Thursday at the Chaos Bloom Theater
The second is a further way to go
(For some) at Lakewood’s What If Theatre room.

Two diff’rent shows, two diff’rent lengths and yet
We don’t know what we’ll do without your get,

Tonight we join a trio on Broadway
Not in New York City but south Denver
We’ll do a 20-minute classic play
Amidst more acts from Chaos Bloom players.

We don’t rehearse so we will make it up
Based on suggestions from the audience.
Perhaps we’ll play a lion, bird or pup
Or non-animals if we get the chance.

It’s more than worth the ticket price for us
But you also get to see diet milk.
“Well who are they” you ask and whine and fuss
They’re fun, like us, so come support their ilk.
