Allright, allright, my turn to extend my gratitude to all who were involved in building and attending Era 2024.
This adventure has grown massively since our debut in 2022. Crew has changed, people have joined forces while others have gacefully stepped down after having contributed to the seeding of the project. Regardless of where you stand, I love and couldn’t possibly thank you all enough for the heart, soul, sweat, tears and laugther you have poured into the recipe that baked us this absolutely magical party we just experienced.
I will cherrish these memories forever, and use theiir lessons in my own contributions to the future editions.
In the endless list of angels and warriors who devoted their time and efforts in making this thing a reality, I wish to personally extend my undying gratitude to Janik Jan, Joël Krønøfrøst, Emilie Claire Marie, Sidi Khalil, my brothers and my sister, who I had the immense honour of taking on the main organization with; Sebastien Leclerc,Sebastien Guindon, Hugues YouGo Saumure, Brent Trottier, Luc LHeureux, Mohamad Sleiman, Steph DeePhazed, Mathieu Tremblay, Cin Dydy, Acintya Virya, Elody Paquet, Phœnix Lemieux, Cloé Chartrand-Dufour, Frédéric Tremblay, Ti-Loup Gaumond, Marie-andrée Paquet, Marc Tremblay, Imixa Imen, Karine Guay, Sabrina Fortin, along with all their crews, partners, collaborators, girlfriends, wives and many more still; who planned, built, designed, coordinated and in the end fu***ng delivered an infrastructure that allowed us to offer a magnificent and unique Festival to all; John Santana , Lau Brunelle , Noémie Dompierre and all their teams who kept us safe and well cared for; to rockstar and rock-solid volunteers who never counted the hours they worked, in all departments; to all the djs, producers, artists, healers, vendors and service providers who gave us the chance to live like kings and queens out in the middle of wild beautiful Quebec; to the parents who brought their children and shown them that life is not all about school, routine and Disney World;
And finally, last but far from least, to all the people who decided to come and dance and be reunited in friendship, love, respect and gratitude for each other. My words fall short of the joy and happiness it brought me and all the teams to welcome you into our little corner of a parallel Universe we all created together.
My heart is swelling to no end when I see again in my mind your smiles, your joys, your love and your souls mirrored in one another.
Again, I could never in a milion years thank all of you enough for your contributions, great or small, to this beautiful weekend we enjoyed. We will see you next year, because this Festival is far from over, and here to stay 💪.
