Restock alert & new wines by the glass at Mowe , presenting 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗶!!
A small-scale winery Gippsland (Victoria, Australia) runs by a husband and wife - Dane & Hannah Johns. Inspired by the Latin’s spirit of “Memento Mori”, meaning “remember you will die”, reflect their principles of making wines with respect for nature and the living.
With 20 years in the coffee industry before turning to wine scene, Dane approach to winemaking in a unique sensory way, and work his magic with blending grapes. Following a strict organic foundation, using high-quality fruits in small batch fermented, with wild yeast and no addictive, resulting in wines that are fresh, pure, and full of character.

𝗜𝗳 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 ‘23/ Nosiola, Vermentino, Malvasia / - Our newest at the moment, a white blend with an aromatic hint of this rare grape - Nosiola. Super aromatic & citrus pitch.
𝗙𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 ‘24/ Moscato Giallom, Vermentino / - A white blend with signature floral notes indeed! Smooth acidity and refreshing, you can always start w this bottle and end beautifully.
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗻 ‘22/ Vermentino, Fiano, Moscato Giallo/ - Back to business bb, a beautiful skin-contact wine with medium body, with tropical fruit notes and signature subtle ginger spices.
𝗡𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗺𝗶 ‘22/ Schioppettino, Syrah, a splash of Vermentino/ - A Medium body & structured rose, bright & tart red fruit flavors, savory undertones, perfect to go w light fresh seafood and white meat dishes!
𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 ‘22/ Nero D’avola, Moscato Giallo/ - A Medium red refreshing style with not just aromatic but also chalky & balanced, with gentle cherry and berry notes.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 ‘22/ Syrah/ - Any classic from this? Well still a bit, a medium+ body red with jammy fruity notes from both blue and red berries, fresh citrus hint, herbal, low tannins and well-structured palette.
