An Exciting Evening of Cocktails and Entertainment at Westwood Da Nang!
Westwood X Pisco Hana, a Unique Peruvian-Japanese Experimental Cocktail Destination by JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon, Phu Phil, award winning bartender in 2019 & bartender of the year 2020 (Vietnam) will be joining the Westwood team for a one night only event. Phu will be creating Vietnamese inspired cocktails paired with the bold smoky flavours that Westwood is known for.
Pisco Hana’s cocktails tell stories through ingredients, individual drinks, and a menu that unites unique flavors in modern Peruvian-Japanese cocktails. Beyond what is poured, uncorked, and served, the inspiration behind each layer of taste contributes to the novel experience. As Nguyễn Hữu Phú, the Bar Manager, explains: “We use modern craft cocktail techniques to build three layers in our drinks, from the top note to the mid note and base note. Alongside our signature cocktails, we also want to highlight classic cocktails in an elevated way.”
To match the vibe for the evening Westwood will be hosting producer, DJ and curator Juan Mejia, from Miami, Florida, USA, with over 30 years experience behind the decks. He currently runs 3 record labels and specializes in bringing house music to a global audience, working closely with musicians in SE Asia, Africa, and South America on his acclaimed projects.
