🔵 CALL FOR APPLICATION – GoSEA Artists-in-Residence 2026-2027 🔵

The British Council in Viet Nam is glad to be supporting a growing network of arts organisations as they develop and host artist residencies through GoSEA.

Spanning Hà Nội, Hồ Chí Minh City, Đà Nẵng – Hội An, Huế, and Đà Lạt, GoSEA brings together UK-based and Vietnamese artists in flexible, hybrid residency formats, creating space to meet, exchange ideas, and build meaningful collaborations over time.

The Open Call for UK-based artists is now live, inviting artists to explore and apply for residency opportunities hosted by these nine arts organisations in Viet Nam. Taking place between September 2026 and March 2027, each residency includes online exchange alongside a 2–4 week stay in Việt Nam, with comprehensive support and an artist fee provided.

We’re especially excited to see how these connections will continue to grow between artists, organisations, and local communities.

Chào các bạn! Tối mai, trong tuần thứ hai của tháng tôn vinh Abbas Kiarostami, chúng ta sẽ chiếu phim “Hương vị của quả anh đào”, tác phẩm đoạt giải Cành cọ vàng tại Liên hoan phim Cannes năm 1977. Bộ phim chính kịch tối giản của Iran này có sự tham gia của Homayoun Ershadi trong vai một người đàn ông có ý định tự tử, lái xe quanh thành phố để tìm người chôn cất mình dưới gốc cây anh đào.

Hi friends! Tomorrow night, for the second week of our month of Abbas Kiarostami, we are screening Taste of Cherry, the winner of the Palm D’Or at the 1977 Cannes Film Festival. This Iranian minimalist drama stars Homayoun Ershadi as a suicidal man on a drive around town in search for someone to bury him under a cherry tree.

Chúng tôi sẽ trình chiếu bốn bộ phim của ông, giới thiệu một số tác phẩm điện ảnh xuất sắc nhất đến từ nền văn minh giàu có và đáng tự hào về văn hóa của Iran. (US out of Iran)

Cù Rú welcomes Keetana — a selector moving fluidly through layers of sound. Dense rhythms, flickers of acid, touches of electro, with tech house holding the pulse. Never fixed, never repeating — each set is an experiment, a drift through shifting states.

* Keetana is a multi-genre DJ and selector from Moscow. She has performed at various collectives across Russia and abroad, including VPN Radio in Los Angeles and Durian Radio in Bangkok. In her sets, she loves exploring and blending different sounds and genres — dense rhythms, touches of electro, acid accents, and the distinctive energy of tech house. Every mix reflects a new stage in her artistic evolution as a DJ and selector.

Tối 1/5, từ 21:00, Cù Rú chào đón Keetana — một selector di chuyển linh hoạt qua nhiều lớp âm thanh. Nhịp dày, những vệt acid thoáng qua, electro len lỏi, với tech house giữ nhịp nền. Không cố định, không lặp lại — mỗi set là một thử nghiệm, một lần trôi qua những trạng thái đang chuyển động.

* Keetana là DJ/selector đa thể loại đến từ Moscow. Cô đã biểu diễn cùng nhiều collective tại Nga và quốc tế, bao gồm VPN Radio (Los Angeles) và Durian Radio (Bangkok). Trong các set của mình, Keetana thích khám phá và pha trộn nhiều âm thanh và thể loại khác nhau — từ những nhịp dày, electro, điểm xuyết acid, đến năng lượng đặc trưng của tech house. Mỗi bản mix đều phản ánh một giai đoạn mới trong hành trình phát triển nghệ thuật của cô với vai trò DJ và selector.
