Our menu is consistently good throughout, and our specials are even better. Our team of chefs are dedicated and skilled, having apprenticed at some very impressive places. Their skill shows throughout. Our service staff is attentive and efficient, and the courtyard setting is very relaxing. The New York Times said this about us, “...A very impressive menu---for a kitchen the size of a Volkswagon beetle.”

The NY Times made us a Travel+Leisure Pick for St. John, quite the honor, and compared the kitchen to a Volkswagen Beetle, To which we say "Small is Beautul" and it sure does keep the food fresh.

Chef Vanessa can't be controlled, and it's a good thing. Now that we're out of the crazy busy winter season, she has way too much energy so here come some specials and goodness knows, she understands flavors.

We love the items that we've created in house, like Shrimp Vera Cruz: Some jumbo shrimp on the grill, a bit of blackening spice, in a flour tortilla with cheddar jack, topped with sour cream, guacamole, chipotle BBQ sauce and mango vinaigrette. Some years ago, the New York Times made us a Travel+Leisure Pick for St. John, saying "a Remarkable Menu for a Kitchen the Size of a Volkswagen Beetle". Well, small is beautiful, and it sure does keep the food fresh! We're celebrating serving St. John since 1994, and are consistently rated as one of best restaurants on the island. After a long day of travel, the last thing you want to do is to figure out dinner at the villa. You could cook, after a visit to the grocery store. Yech. You could go out, but you just got in. Takeout orders, for most restaurants, are just not what is served in the restaurants.
