For those of you that have dogs, be careful to not let them eat your cigar nubs!
Ci**rs are very toxic to pets!
4mg or more of nocotine is lethal and can kill your fur baby!
My Sheepadoodle (Piper) loves ci**rs for whatever reason and I have to be on guard while smoking around her.
Twice over the last couple years she has grabbed a cigar nubs out of my ashtray within 10 minutes of my finishing it!
Two nights ago, she was sleeping on the sofa in my personal lounge next to me as I smoked a cigar.
I sat it on the edge of the ashtray and made a quick trip to the restroom, glancing at Piper to make sure she was asleep.
When I returned, she was sitting in front of my ashtray and what was my still smoking cigar when i walked out moments before, was now gone!
It was a little more than half of my Victor Sinclair Puro!
I was up all night monitoring her behavior watching for the signs of the lethal to***co poisoning.
Fast heart rate, rapid breathing, vomiting, diarrhea and drooling…
I read on Google search that 4mg per lb was a way to determine how much of a lethal dosage a dog may have ingested !
Fortunately, she never had any reactions!
Today, two days later, she vomited what was almost the entire cigar she had ate!
It was mostly still hard and hadn’t lost all its shape, along with cigar leaf!
TWO DAYS LATER!
One cigar can be 100-200 Mg of ni****ne depending on the cigar!
And deadly in many cases when consumed by a pet.
So, if you have dogs please be careful to not leave your ci**rs around for the curious and inquisitive that just might have an attraction for a good cigar!
