Next time your at the store, please consider adding a few extra cans of soup, or canned vegetables, and bringing them in to donate.

All donations will go to the Yuma Food Bank.

I want to thank everyone for making my first meeting as President such a honor and guiding me through it. We initiated 4 new members and installed a new trustee!
Lisa and I are leaving for 10 days to head back to Michigan for a ceremony of life of one of my good friends, then our granddaughter is getting married! Oh, and yeah, we'll be celebrating our 50th anniversary also.
But I'm leaving you in the capable hands of your officers, don't forget our next meeting on June 17th, and will see you soon.

Aerie President’s Corner

I would like to thank everyone for their support and look forward to working with each of you in the coming year. A big thanks to all the officers that I worked with this past year, you all rocked! And congratulations to the incoming officers for their commitment to making this Aerie a great place to be!

I would like to thank Linda McCready-Adelgren and her crew for their hard work this past year for organizing and putting on a monthly dinner to support the American Society for Prevention of Su***de. Madam President Candy Arnold and I are going to continue this support by hosting dinners on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Check the calendar, Facebook and website for our upcoming dinners, we will start with a Steak Dinner on July 1, pre-sale tickets ($15) go on sale toward the end of June so we know how many steaks to buy.

The Eagle Riders are organizing a can drive for the food bank starting June 1, and the Aerie is having a nutritional drink collection for the Cancer Center starting June 16. You can find our monthly calendar here https://www.foe4538.com/calendar

Our June Aerie meeting normally on the 1st Wednesday is moved to June 10th as our officers will be attending the State Convention to support our State Worthy President-Ralph Arnold, and remember that Fathers eat free at the Father’s Day Sunday Brunch on the 21st. And mark your calendars for Christmas in July on July 25!

** IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE GRAND AERIE **
Brothers & Sisters,
As many of you know, in July, we will be migrating to having hard membership cards for all members. Following the mass drop of delinquent members on July 11, the Grand Aerie will be sending a list of all members in good standing to the company who will do the printing and fulfillment of these cards.
They will be printing and mailing them throughout the month of July. Following that initial run, we will be submitting weekly uploads of information for new and re-enrolled members. When Secretaries add new initiated members in MMS, their card information will be sent to the printer in the following week’s data upload. These will be scheduled to upload on Monday mornings, so any work you do on the weekend would reflect in that week’s data upload. Secretaries will no longer be responsible for printing and distributing cards themselves.
The cost of the hard cards is being absorbed by the Grand Aerie as promised when the Per-Capita Tax increase took effect.
Each card will be mailed with the home Aerie or Auxiliary address as the return address, so if one of your members has an outdated address or the mail is deemed undeliverable, it will be returned to you so that you may contact them to pick the card up in person and update their contact information in MMS.
We are currently working on arrangements for a door entry system Aeries can use in conjunction with the QR codes on each member’s hard card. More information on this will be released to ALL Secretaries once it is finalized. Costs associated with door entry systems would be the responsibility of the host Aerie.
For the 2026-2027 year, we will recognize both the yellow dues receipt and the hard card as official dues receipts to reduce any issues we may have resulting from outdated mailing addresses in our system. Starting with 2027-2028, only the hard card will be recognized.
