A massive congratulations to head brewers Taylor Heckaman and Ted Badgerow — the Ypsi Alehouse took home a whopping FIVE gold medals (as well as 2 silver medals!!) in this year’s 2026 World Expo of Beer. 🤯 Old classics you may love as well as new favorites as recent as this past year.
Gold Medal Winners include our Mooneye IPA, Birra d'Eraclea Italian Pilsner, Lallybrach Scottish Wee Heavy, Dark Czechmark Dark Lager, and our Streetcar #10 Pre-Prohibition American Lager. It’s turning out to be a beautiful day on the patio— and what could pair better than Ted’s annual Summer Whimsy ☀️ (formerly known as Ted’s Gazpacho).

Ted hand-selects the freshest tomatoes, vegetables and fruits in season from the local Coleman's Farm Market. He harvests the fragrant spices and herbs grown at the Alehouse, and lovingly chops them into bite-sized morsels to create our cool balsamic smorgasbord.
