Here are the rules for the rib and chicken cook-off:
*An entry fee of $50 will be charged for the ribs and $30 for the chicken.
*Each contestant or team will supply their own ribs or chicken.
*Cook as much chicken or ribs as you wish only 8 bones will be judged and 6 pieces of chicken .
*Open grilling contest - charcoal, wood or gas grills.
***You must bring your own grill.
***No holes or dug pits are permitted.
***All cooking units must be self-contained.
***No dumping of charcoal, wood, or pellets on the ground.
*All ribs and chicken must be raw and uncooked at check-in.
*Prior preparation (marinating or seasoning) not permitted.
*Check in and set up time is 8:00, Saturday.
*All chicken will be judged at 3:00 and all ribs will be judged between 4:00 and 5:00.
*You may sell ribs, chicken or anything else the day of the event.
*Any party selling must be set up on the road.
