So we've had a major development occurring just outside of our parking lot from Ohio Department of Transportation - Akron / Canton District 4 . This greatly impacts our summer plans and your ability to get to the venue. So here's what you need to know:

The Wick Ave Bridge over 422 is completely closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic as they are replacing the bridge deck. The access roads around it are also closed to vehicle traffic but still open to pedestrians.

In the map below the purple route are how we would recommend getting there. The red is what is closed off. Navigate to the intersection of McGuffey Rd, and Wick Ave, and then proceed past the signs that say Road Closed Local traffic only. Using Belleria Wick on navigation apps is how we recommend using directions.

Our only available vehicle entrance is the the north Wick avenue one (listed at the check mark in the map below). Our normal south entrances are within the construction zone and are not accessible. They are to pedestrians however who utilize the detour over Elm St.

This construction started on Monday and will proceed through at least the middle of August.

To say we are mad is an understatement. We know this is work that needs to be done and doing it in the summer does make a lot of sense for YSU related traffic, but to leave us on an island is a gross over sight. Would have loved to see them keep at least the West Bound Service Road open from Andrews ave, and connecting it back to Wick North Bound but they are using it for construction vehicle parking.

We hope to still see you out at some of our summer events. As of now they will all happen as planned. See Wickyards.com for those events! We had so much we wanted to do this summer but with only one entrance into our parking lot, this will no longer be feasible. We are so sorry but this is out of our hands. We hope ODOT can maybe modify the closures to make it work better for us and neighboring businesses but for now this is how it is. We will get through this together.Thanks for sticking with us!

Important for our summer events! The bridge next door to our property will be closed all summer long. Pay attention to posted detours and plan a longer commute to get to the venue.

More than 5,000 cars and trucks that use a portion of Wick Avenue in Youngstown will be detoured next week during a closure beginning Monday, May 18, for a bridge

March 19, 2016. We hosted our very first concert here at The Wickyards! Now we’re celebrating 10 years! We’ve come a long way since that first show, and we wouldn’t be here today without you! Thank you all for quite the ride! That first show with Big Ginge and The Nobodies, , , The Leffingwells, and Flipswitch set us up for a decade of amazing moments. We have more planned to honor this anniversary later this year but we couldn’t let the day go by without doing something. Enjoy this reflection and highlight reel, of just some of the signature moments of the past decade of music, ghosts, and fun times. Apologies if you don’t see your act in the video. If I included everyone this vid would be like 10+ min long. Never did I think we would be here right now. If I did I would’ve picked a better name like The Coffin Club or something. Couldn’t do it without all of you though! You’re the ones who come to shows, and plan events. Without you it’s just a building. A really old grandiose building, but it’s nothing without the atmosphere created by you. The ones who create a cool tight knit community that welcomes everyone, and you’re the ones who bring that third place nature here. I’m just the weird guy that orchestrates it behind the scenes. I’m just very thankful you’ve allowed me to do this for so long and that you keep coming back! I consider so many of you friends and it wouldn’t be possible without you supporting local live art. Like we said more to come later this year. Youngstown Thank you.

We have none other than coming back for another round who put on an impeccable live show for those who haven’t seen. They’ll be joined on the bill by . It’s only $5! So come on down it’ll be super easy barely an inconvenience.

Consider voting for The Wickyards as your favorite venue in this year’s Underground Entertainment Awards! Yes we know lots of good venues in the Youngstown area and which are all very deserving. A vote for us would mean so much! We may not have programming all the time, or food, drinks, or fun ammenties but do provide a cozy DIY experience, in a creepy old mansion turned funeral home haha. Anyway vote for us or whoever, and vote down the other categories too (link below). Lots of excellent performers, comedians, and people, entities, acts, and more that all provide great value to the community! Consider attending this event on January 24 at Westside Bowl!

We figured since we’re not having any public events this December we take the chance to look back at the crazy fall we had!
First off Wick-o-Ween 25’ was a huge success! Performances from , The Slyest and Flyest, , Night of Rage, and really made it a night to remember with each act bringing something a bit different to the table!
Not only that but we shattered our attendance record! Was 103 from this event 2 years ago but now it’s 125! Swipe to the end to see our reaction as it happened. Thanks for recording
