Its been a while since we've posted. During these trying times all is well with us and we hope all is well with you also. We definitely miss everyone that was coming to All City! We have become like family over the years. Our wings have people inboxing for the cooks number! All City is currently under attack by the Youngstown Police Department. All City Sports Bar & Grille has been in business for over 3 years and are fighting to keep are business going we invested in and built from the ground up. All City is being deemed a public nuisance because of the high amount of traffic due to our fluctuation in business after the restrictions were lifted due to covid-19. When we opened All City the business plan was to maximize our commercial space and we did just that. In return for maximizing our commercial space we received backlash. In an attempt to be proactive we reached out to the Chief of Police Robin Lees in regards to hiring off duty officers at $30-$40 per hour and we were told no. We reached out to President of Youngstown City Council DeMaine Kitchen because numerous attempts to reach 4th ward council member Mike Ray were failed. Mike Ray finally reached back out to us after years of no contact (bc DeMaine Kitchen was notified) and we asked him if he could assist us with getting receptacles for the street from the city of YOU and we also asked him to help assist us in hiring off duty officers to curb the outside loitering. He was unable to assist in anything we asked for. During quarantine when it was carry-out food only Mike Ray personally made numerous calls to the chief of police Robin Lees to send units to All City to do compliance checks multiple times bc there were cars outside between 5pm and 7pm. Every time we were in compliance and there were actually more officers inside the business(not wearing a mask) then patrons waiting for carry-out food. There were businesses on Mahoning avenue that got caught serving alcohol when it was carry-out only and they had less compliance checks than All City during carry-out only. We were being targeted since the day we opened. Our council ward member Mike Ray never stepped foot in our business or didn't respond to emails or phone calls for years. This is who we elected. Change starts at the local level. We live in a city that is struggling to bring business and Youngstown Law Director Jeff Limbian is trying to close a business that's locally owned and operated employing up to 15 people at times. This legal stuff doesn't happen over night so bear with us why we handle this adversity and we will be back soon!
