HRS Damping Plates – What They Actually Do

Most electronics ring. Tap the top of a DAC, preamp, or CD transport and you’ll hear it: the chassis resonates. That resonance travels straight into the circuit and raises the noise floor.

HRS Damping Plates are built to kill that. Machined aluminum, tuned mass, and proprietary polymers convert mechanical energy into heat instead of vibration. The result is cleaner dynamics, more stable imaging, and a calmer, more controlled presentation.

Use them on top of DACs, streamers, phonostages, transports, and even speaker cabinets. Choose the plate size that matches the chassis, and go for the thicker DPX versions when the component is heavy or rigid.

It’s one of those upgrades you underestimate until you hear what a quieter chassis sounds like.

The HRS European tour was filled with meaningful connections, from attending the Vienna HiFi Show to visiting our distribution partner, Intelliworld, in Switzerland. We also had the pleasure of meeting with many of our distributors and dealers from around the world, making the trip a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships and share ideas. We extend our sincere thanks to VTL and Linn for showcasing HRS products in their demonstration rooms and helping music lovers experience the performance benefits of HRS. We are grateful for the partnerships and friendships that continue to bring the HRS experience to music lovers around the world.
