It is with heavy hearts we share some devastating news, Shannen’s brother Emmett has unexpectedly passed away at home in limerick during the week, Shannen & her family will be In Our thoughts and Prayers over the coming few days - Out of respect for Shannen & her family our party will be cancelled Saturday night 14th March

The Donkey Turns 10 🎊🎉🎊

We would like to sincerely thank every single person who has walked through the doors of The Whistlin Donkey over the past 10 years.🤩 your support, loyalty, and friendship have meant everything to us. Without our customers, there simply would be no bar and restaurant. You are the heart of what we do.
We are truly grateful for the memories we’ve shared, the laughter, the celebrations, and the continued custom throughout the years. We look forward to many more years of welcoming you — our friends and family — and serving you with the same warmth and appreciation.
Oh — and we’re not letting a milestone like this pass quietly! We’ll be celebrating on Saturday 14th March with live music from 8 PM with Garrett Ryan. We’d love to see you there to mark the occasion with us.
