Just a reminder that Rambler will be closed Friday and Saturday night this week but we will be open for lunch 11-3.

We will return to our regular hours next week PLUS lunch all 5 days as well. Happy Hour will also be our new addition with 1/2 priced draft beers & wines as well as some specials on bottled and canned beers.

Well we have a little hiccup in our days open this week. Our entire staff scheduled time off on the same weekend and we didn't realize it way back when we hired them. What this means for you is we won't be open for dinner on Friday or Saturday this week. There is a bright side though, we will be open for lunch starting this Friday and going on 5 days a week after that.

That's right you'll be able to come in for a nice lunch here at Rambler every Tuesday - Saturday. Here's a copy of the menu.

In addition to this great news is starting next Tuesday we'll start offering a Happy Hour at the bar. We figured if we're gonna be here anyway might as well do a little something special for all you folks. I'll post more details on that as we get closer to the end of the week.

I saw in the news today that Rosemont Bakery is moving to a new, larger location on Main Street. I thought wow, they're going to be our new neighbor but it turned out they were just moving one building over from their current location. I wish they had moved next door, that would have been great.

Once again we've successfully pulled off another special event. Lots of you Mainers were perplexed by our all German menu but I think many of you left here with a new appreciation for a new cuisine. You can rest assured that Oktoberfest will be back the same time next year even bigger and better.

Thank you all for coming out and being a part of our whimsy. We had a blast and I hope you did too.

Happy Oktoberfest everyone. Just a reminder that we will open today at noon and will have live music on the back patio almost the entire day. If you didn't make it in last night for schnitzel and a bier you've got all day to correct that. Come on down and hang out with us.
