For some reason we couldn't figure out how to share sadumzi sadumzi post on our buisness page so we had to copy and paste it. Any help or kind words you can think of! We added a picture of Nate and Sydney that's on our wall at RB with our host! "Such sweethearts and so kind" That's the common theme when conversation comes up.

"Many have reached out and I wanted to let everyone know that Nate was detained by ICE on Thursday, February 12, 2026 as we were deboarding our plane in St. Louis. We were taking our first trip away as new parents-A surprise from Nate to me. He is currently being detained and held in custody in the St. Louis area.

We started his path to citizenship almost 4 years ago and his case is complicated to say the least. Nate has been in the United state since he was 4 years old. He knows no other life, language or community. During this entire process we have been working with an attorney and doing everything the “right way”.

As many of you know we had our first child 6 months ago and have established our family in Yankton, SD where we have developed our own community the last 5 years. We have created a community that has become our extended family.

Without getting into too many details this has been a traumatic and horrible situation and experience. While we remain hopeful there are still many hurdles that we may have to overcome to get Nate released and continue his path to citizenship and most importantly home to us, his family.

To say we need all the prayers and positive vibes is an understatement. Nate is a contributing member of our society and has had the same job for numerous years, pays taxes and participates in our community and church. While many think this is not happening around us we are experiencing this first hand as a family. We appreciate anyone who has reached out and offered help and support. What we need at this time is to bring awareness to the situation and do everything we can to bring Nate home. We miss him and our world was completely shattered 36 hours ago.

Merry Christmas!!!

What a fun suprise this was! Dropped our son off at basketball and then my husband (kevin) said we need to go back to the restaurant to grab some christmas decorations. Staff was there with pizza and gifts for bosses day! A blanket with all their faces, a couple of pillow cases (of course draces picture is on the pillow case) and a customized glass liqour holder set. 😄 🤣 ❤️ We really do have some of the best people that work here. Love them 😀
