We're sad to see a member of the social dance community leave for the big dance in the sky. Mo was so warm and inviting and making people feel welcomed, even if they were swing dancers at a salsa event. Which is like a fish out of water. Mo was the river that helped bridge the two pools. He would come and make sure I felt welcomed. He was a kind and gentle man.
You'll be missed, Mo.

It is with deep sadness that we share that DJ Mo' - Erasmo Garcia took his final breath on Nov 26 at 4:22 PM. His battle with cancer was incredibly aggressive, and even though he fought with so much courage, his body could no longer keep up.
Our hearts are broken, and we know many of yours will be too. Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers, sent messages, and showed love during these difficult days—your support meant more than you know.
Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts. Thank you, Yakima, for being such a compassionate community. Your love made a difference ❤️
